Your flash drive will be automatically detected by Rufus. Insert your flash drive into the USB port and fire up Rufus. Download Linux Mint from here and save the iso on your Desktop. There are a lot of software that can make bootable USB drives, but the one we’ll use in this tutorial is Rufus, which you can download here.ġ. To flash the distribution and boot into it, you’ll first need to make a bootable USB Drive. Free storage space on your computer (at least 100GB).Prerequisites for Linux Mint dual boot with Windows Please make sure to take a backup of your files before proceeding. Warning!
